Vetted and trusted by dermatologists, the AAD’s patient education content is accurate, up to date, and, most importantly, easy to understand. It can be translated into the language of your choice.

All AAD patient education content is reviewed and validated by board-certified dermatologists to ensure its accuracy, and it supports dermatologists’ diagnosis and treatment plans. Choose from more than 60 skin, hair, and nail conditions, available as written online content, infographics, print pamphlets, and video.

Pamphlets dermatologists give their patients to extend expertise beyond the exam room. The AAD’s pamphlets provide information on over 30 topics, ranging from diseases and conditions to skin cancer prevention.

Your Dermatologist Knows educational videos

Short-form videos featuring board-certified dermatologists that show the public how to care for their skin, hair, and nails at home. Each video runs roughly 2.5 minutes — short enough to finish in a waiting room or on a phone.

All content is updated regularly and the Licensee is responsible for ensuring content remains up to date. The Licensee is responsible for downloading content from the site as needed.
