Dermatology Patient Education Print
Gain access to the full AAD Patient Education Library. Topics range from acne to rosacea, and psoriasis to nail care. To view these topics, go to Diseases and Treatments.

The Content shall consist of the Patient Education Library.

The Content materials include all clinical images and articles, for which AAD owns the copyright and/or has rights to distribute. The Content is provided in English and translations may be available with permission.

  • AAD shall deliver a copy of the Content in a mutually-agreed upon format, within 30 days after agreement signing.

  • Content updates will be delivered in January and July each year, or as deemed necessary by the AAD.

  • Upon receipt of new and/or updated content, Licensee will ensure that its Content distribution system is updated within 30 days and confirm such to AAD via email.

Dermatology Patient Education Videos
Quick videos with tips to help patients learn how to manage their conditions and better care for their skin, hair, and nails. Topics range from acne to rosacea, and psoriasis to nail care. To view these topics, go to the Video Library.

  • AAD will provide the videos in MP4 files for posting on the websites or on any LMS.

  • Licensee may create derivative works from the Licensor Content with approval and AAD assumes ownership of all derivative products.

  • The final product will be created by Licensee and approved by AAD prior to distribution.

  • Licensee will be responsible for managing access to licensed content.

  • Licensee also may place its own dermatology educational content on the Site, provided that the Licensee Content is clearly marked as such and distinguishable from the Licensor Content.

  • Licensor shall have the right to review and approve any advertising or sponsors listed on the Site.

  • Licensee may not state or imply that Licensor endorses Licensee’s goods or services, or attribute to Licensor or its members any position with respect to any issues covered by the Licensor Content.

  • Content may be translated and distributed according to the translation protocol.

Public Service Infographics
The first step towards a world without skin cancer is educating others about prevention and early detection. The AAD offers opportunities to help spread sun-safety messages and increase public awareness about skin cancer through a variety of resources. To view topics, go to Public Service Infographics.
