AAD publications continue to win big!

DermWorld, AADA Advocacy Update earn APEX awards; DermWorld finalist for FOLIO award.

Over 1,000 entries were considered for 2025 APEX Awards, and two different AAD publications snagged one.

The July 2024 issue of DermWorld received an APEX Award in the “Magazines, Journals, & Tabloids” category, which is highly competitive. This marks DermWorld’s ninth consecutive year receiving an APEX award. Check out the award-winning issue!

The AADA Advocacy Update also took home an APEX award for the “Newsletter” category. The APEX Awards is an annual awards program recognizing excellence in publishing by professional communicators and judging is based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence.

In addition, content from two issues of Derm World, October 2024 and February 2025, were recently named finalists for Folio awards — for the 10th year in a row! Winners will be announced later this month. Folio is one of the highest honors in magazine publishing. Winners in 2024 included Fortune, Science magazine, Consumer Reports, Travel and Leisure, and Real Simple.
