JAAD coverage receives over half-a-billion views
The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology is having another strong year in the media, helping to positively position the specialty with the public. Articles published within JAAD had over 1,100 placements in media outlets across the country, which were seen more than 627 million times.
Some of the most high-profile placements included coverage of the ‘Online Symptom Checkers Often Not Accurate for IDing Skin Rashes’ article in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and HealthDay. These placements are the results of pitching by the AAD media relations team.
