Psoriasis: Recommendations for broadband and narrowband UVB therapy

  • Broadband (BB) and narrowband (NB) ultraviolet B photherapy is indicated for generalized psoriasis (excluding guttate) unresponsive to topicals.
  • BB-and NB-UVB phototherapy is contraindicated in patients with known lupus erythematosus or xeroderma pigmentosum.
