Additional information

Members hold dual membership in the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the American Academy of Dermatology Association (AADA). Dues are received as revenue by AADA and used in part to support the work of AAD. Dues paid to AADA are not deductible as charitable contributions but may be deductible as business expenses, excluding the 18% of dues attributable to lobbying activities. Dues and fees are listed in U.S. dollars.

Member benefits begin only after you have submitted the application, provided all required documents, and received approval via email. The initial review typically takes 7–10 business days.

If you wish to register for any AAD meeting, note that meeting registration deadlines do not coincide with membership application dates.
