Academy offers unrivaled opportunities to connect
The Academy’s two major meetings were once again a success in 2025, offering members an extraordinary opportunity to connect and network with colleagues.
In March, the 2025 AAD Annual Meeting in Orlando set a new attendance record, with over 20,000 registrants visiting exhibits from over 350 vendors and attending over 300 educational sessions. A new Opening Ceremony launched the meeting with a fireside chat between Seemal R. Desai, MD, FAAD, and lifestyle icon Martha Stewart.
The 2025 Innovation Academy, held in Chicago in July, drew over 1,100 attendees — an increase over 2024. Participants heard talks on leadership, business, and innovation in dermatology. The event opened with an address from Zack Kass, former head of Go To Market at OpenAI, who shared insights on artificial intelligence in health care.
