AADA hosts 11th annual Capitol Hill Skin Cancer Check and Health Fair
On May 14, the AADA hosted its 11th annual Capitol Hill Skin Cancer Check and Health Fair in cooperation with the Congressional Skin Cancer Caucus.
The event hosted over 130 attendees, including seven members of Congress: Republican Doctors Caucus Co-Chairs, Reps. John Joyce, MD, FAAD (R-PA), and Greg Murphy, MD (R-NC), as well as Reps. Morgan Griffith (R-VA), Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA), Glenn Ivey (D-MD), Dave Joyce (R-OH), and Mariannette Miller-Meeks, MD (R-IA).
This popular event is a unique opportunity to provide free skin cancer checks to members of Congress, staff, and the public, as well as to promote the specialty of dermatology and advocate for our sole congressional priority, Medicare physician payment reform.
