Public health programs partnership opportunities
Through a variety of educational and life-saving humanitarian programs, the AAD is proud to make a meaningful difference every day in the lives of individuals and communities across the United States and abroad. Your support helps further these initiatives that advance the AAD’s mission.
From providing camp experiences for children with chronic skin, hair, and nail diseases to providing access to dermatologic care in under-represented and rural communities through our teledermatology program, AAD’s efforts span wide and deep to educate, assist, and support those who are affected by skin disease and conditions. Your support enables us to continue these essential programs and services for communities in need.
AccessDerm is an AAD-sponsored teledermatology platform that provides patients in underserved populations access to board-certified dermatologists at no charge.
This program awards grants to members of the AAD and individuals and organizations within the dermatology or global health care field.
Two volunteer programs are currently available to residents; the Resident International Grant Program and the Native American Health Services Resident Rotation.
Learn how you can partner with the AAD to educate the public about how to reduce their risk of skin cancer, how to spot skin cancer, and how behavior change can ultimately save lives.
The Academy offers several programs aimed at improving the health and wellness of children and youth. Your partnership ensures that children continue to benefit from programs that educate them about skin health, empathy, and self-empowerment.
From gold-star education programs and practice management expertise, to free skin cancer screenings, the Academy is working to strengthen the specialty, educate the public, and ensure the best care for patients.
