Goals and objectives
The purpose of this module is to help medical students develop a clinical approach to the evaluation and initial management of patients who present with typical viral exanthems.
After completing this module, the learner should be able to:
Recognize morbilliform eruption as a prototype for viral exanthems
Describe classic presentations of distinctive pediatric viral exanthems
Provide counseling for parents of children with typical viral exanthems
