2024 Annual Meeting resident stipends program

The American Academy of Dermatology offers stipends to eligible U.S./Canadian dermatology residents to attend the AAD 2024 Annual Meeting in San Diego, March 8-12. Each qualifying resident is eligible to receive a stipend check of $500 U.S. dollars to assist with expenses.

* No application/form is required. Residency programs will confirm their rosters, and once confirmed, we will send an email to those residents who are eligible with the details.

Qualifications and rules

Only open to:

• ACGME and RCPSC approved dermatology residency training programs in the U.S. and Canada; and

• Those completing residency with a graduation year of 2024, 2025, or 2026.

Must:

• Register by the early bird deadline of Wednesday, Jan. 31. 12 p.m. CT.

  • No exceptions will be made for the 2024 year for registration after this date.

• Register under AAD Graduate Member Active Account.

  • Unsure of your ID? Please contact the Member Resource Center for this information before you register at mrc@aad.org or 866-503-7546. (Your AAD ID is assigned when membership is active and will stay the same throughout your years of membership. Please note this is different than the Registration ID you receive when registering for any AAD meeting. )

• Attend the 2024 Annual meeting in person and confirm attendance while onsite.

• Note: Those in a fellowship are not eligible for this stipends program. However, if they have completed a U.S./Canadian dermatology residency they qualify for complimentary AAD Graduate membership. Contact mrc@aad.org for more information.

Other details

• No application/submission of a form is required. After the program confirms its dermatology residents, we will send an email to those residents who are eligible with the details they need.

• Registration for the 2024 Annual Meeting opens Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2023 at 12 p.m. CT.

• The AAD will communicate with all eligible residents after their registration is complete, sending emails with further information.

  • Emails go to the preferred address on your account and may be routed to your spam/junk folder.

  • Please note, your AAD ID is NOT your Registration ID. Please contact the MRC at mrc@aad.org or 866-503-7546 to confirm your AAD Graduate Member Active Account.
