Dermatology Standard Letter of Recommendation (SLOR)
In order to standardize the evaluation of applicants, improve inter-rater reliability, and better meet the needs of the dermatology community, an AAD workgroup has redesigned the SLOR for dermatology. The enhanced SLOR includes a re-formatted “assessment” section with new categories and a method of evaluating the applicant. Additionally, we incorporated room for comments under each area of assessment. Download SLOR.
Dermatology Interest Group Association
The Dermatology Interest Group Association provides volunteering, networking, and research opportunities to medical students interested in a career in dermatology.
National Military Dermatology Interest Group (MDIG)
The National Military Dermatology Interest Group was created to support and develop all military medical students and contracted applicants who are interested in pursuing a career in military dermatology.
