Yetta’s personal story

Spot Logo
I was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma. I went to a doctor for a different issue. He noticed it on my nose and told me I need to get it checked. So I did. I was shocked because I also have psoriasis, and I thought the spot was just from my skin condition. I am going to have Mohs surgery. I am scared because the location is right at the top of my nose, right between my eyes. I have been tanning since I was 15 years old. I had an aunt who died from melanoma skin cancer. It had spread to her liver and then to her brain. My dermatologist told me that I am at high risk for developing melanoma. So I stopped tanning, and we are currently weighing my options for treatment for my psoriasis.
