Dermatologists and their non-physician clinicians can
report PQRS quality measures to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
(CMS) with the Academy's Quality Reporting System (QRS).
There are five dermatology-specific measures - three related
to melanoma, one biopsy follow-up measure, and a new measure related to psoriasis.
The AAD also supports a list of eight additional dermatology applicable measures
to choose from that can be reported through QRS.
You can choose to report nine measures to earn
a bonus payment of 0.5% of total Medicare Part B allowed charges in 2014
or prefer to report three measures to avoid the 2% payment reduction in 2016.
Non-Physician Clinicians: $249
