Laurie’s personal story

More than 10 years ago, my father was diagnosed with his first melanoma. He's now had three spots removed, as well as a salivary gland, part of his hip bone, and one-third of his left lung. He just saw his doctor for a squamous cell and his doctor told him he shouldn't be alive. This is not the first time he's been told this, nor the first doctor.

He's had multiple doctors say he's a walking miracle and that a book should be written about him. Just goes to show that it's never too late to get checked and have something done about skin cancer. His recent pet scan was clear. He is a walking miracle.
