Clinical Pearls in Dermatology: Adult and Pediatric
Saturday, August 03
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
Mark D.P. Davis, MD, FAAD
- Dawn M.R. Davis, MD, FAAD - Handout
Following this course, the attendee should be able to:
- Identify selected dermatologic conditions that mimic each other – and the pitfalls that can lead to misdiagnosis and initiation of incorrect treatment.
- Distinguish selected dermatological conditions from disorders that may mimic them in the differential diagnosis.
- Manage selected dermatologic conditions.
In this session, I will share tips from clinical situations that will help you in your practice. The clinical situations are derived from: a) patients I have seen with interesting and instructive presentations; and b) clinical situations I commonly get questions about from colleagues in dermatology and internal medicine.
