Learning Objectives:
Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Analyze various competing treatment options for difficult procedural cases including: rytides correction, fat removal, melanoma, and non-melanoma skin cancers
  • Compare pros and cons of different treatment options including the best available evidence
  • Select the optimal treatment approach for challenging scenarios in procedural dermatology

Description:
This session will include a panel of experts presenting cases of challenging patient scenarios in procedural dermatology, discuss approaches to management, and describe how the decision regarding treatment course was made. Cases will include body sculpting/fat removal, rhytid correction, melanoma, and non-melanoma skin cancer. A panel discussion will occur at the end of the session allowing the audience to ask questions about similar situations encountered in their practices. Emphasis will be placed on using the best available evidence to make treatment decisions.
