Following this course, the attendee should be able to:
- Diagnose patients with autoimmune urticaria
- Develop treatment strategies for urticaria based on EAACI/GA²LEN/EDF/AAAAI/WAO guidelines
Urticaria management has changed in last decade. New urticaria guidelines were formed in 2012 November in Berlin Germany. Nonsedating antihistamines are a mainstay of therapy. Updosing up to four times will control most of urticaria patients.Those who do not respond may be tried montelukast, cyclosporine or omalizumab. Omalizumab has changed urticaria management in last few years. This session will deal with urticaria management .
