Learning Objectives

Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Identify clinical pearls from challenging medical dermatology, dermatopathology, and surgical cases.
  • Recognize appropriate multidisciplinary approach to treating complex patients.
  • Discuss importance of clinicopathologic correlation in approaching dermatology patients.

Description

This interactive session will present challenging and informative cases from the University of Iowa. Complex medical dermatology, interesting dermatopathology, and surgical cases will be introduced using a "Grand Rounds" clinicopathologic correlation format. Cases with clinical pearls and potential pitfalls will be reviewed and participation from the audience will be encouraged. This session is intended for all dermatologist residents and dermatologists and will focus on relevant and recent topics in the dermatologic literature.
