Learning Objectives

Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Identify recently-described cutaneous manifestations of autoimmune connective tissue disease
  • Diagnose drug-induced autoimmune disease presenting in the skin
  • Select new treatment strategies and preventive measures when caring for patients with cutaneous autoimmune disease


We will take a case-based approach in reviewing updates from the Rheum-Derm clinic. Illustrative cases and photos will be reviewed in order to highlight recently identified physical findings, drug induced disease manifestations, and novel approaches to treatment.
