  • Describe the various staging systems for cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma
  • Formulate a management plan for high-risk cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma including the role of radiologic imaging, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and adjuvant treatments

Description

High-risk cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) present multiple management challenges. This session takes a case-based, evidence-based, approach to management of high-risk cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. The topics that the session will explore include review of the features of high-risk cSCC and the various staging systems, clinical outcomes of high-risk cSCC, impact of perineural invasion, management of in-transit metastasis, role of preoperative imaging, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and adjuvant treatments.
