Learning Objectives:
Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Examine the latest methods to diagnose autoimmune bullous diseases.
  • Examine the pathogenesis of selected bullous diseases of the skin
  • Assess therapeutic approaches for selected bullous diseases

This symposium is designed to bring to the AAD members up-to-date information about the diagnosis and treatment of selected autoimmune and hereditary bullous diseases. State-of-the-art diagnostic criteria and therapy will be discussed, as will new avenues of treatment under development or in early clinical trials.
