Basic Self-Assessment of Dermatopathology

Following this course, the attendee should be able to:
- Interpret and identify dermatologic histological diagnoses more effectively and accurately.
- Classify and recognize common histopathologic skin conditions and formulate differential diagnoses.
Attendees will view 60 slides from skin biopsy specimens in a format that will allow self-assessment. Cases will span the full spectrum of dermatopathology. Each specimen will be discussed by a faculty member with emphasis placed on establishing the correct diagnosis and consideration of the differential diagnosis. These sessions are directed to dermatology residents and practicing dermatologists. This year, this course will be offered with duplicate content at 7:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. Attendees need only select one of these sessions.
