Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Summarize the latest diagnostic techniques for sexually transmitted disease.
  • Identify the latest therapeutic options for treating sexually transmitted disease.
  • Compare and contrast signs and symptoms of sexually transmitted diseases with other skin disease that may affect the genitalia.

Description:
This session will seek to review the signs and symptoms of sexually transmitted disease, and compare and contrast these conditions to other dermatological illness that may involve the genitalia. The latest diagnostic techniques will be discussed and the current therapeutic guidelines for STDs will be reviewed.
