Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Formulate a comprehensive differential diagnosis for the hospitalized patient with skin disease.
  • Analyze case unknowns to arrive at proper diagnosis.
  • Select appropriate treatment options for the hospitalized patient with skin disease.

This interactive session will concentrate on cases one may encounter in the hospital on the dermatology consultation service. Several cases will be presented as unknowns and discussed in a comprehensive manner illustrating the differential diagnosis, work-up, and treatment plan for each case.
