  • Manage EB in the setting of limited resources

Description:
Diagnosis in EB requires a specialized technique for inducing a fresh blister for biopsy and IF mapping at specialized labs. There will be updates on current management topics including wound care and dressings, and early detection and management of complications including renal failure, cardiomyopathy and squamous cell carcinoma. Management of EB in poorer countries with limited access to treatments will be discussed. A panel of international EB experts will share their experience.
