Learning Objectives:
Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Recognize the pathogenesis of selected autoimmune bullous diseases.
  • Recognize the pathogenesis of selected hereditary bullous diseases
  • Determine appropriate therapeutic strategies for selected autoimmune and hereditary skin disorders.

This symposium is designed to bring to the AAD members up-to-date information about the diagnosis and treatment of selected autoimmune and hereditary bullous diseases. State-of-the-art diagnostic criteria and therapy will be discussed, as will new avenues of treatment under development or in early clinical trials.
