Camp Discovery for kids

Camp Discovery offers children living with a chronic skin condition a one-of-a-kind camp experience.

Provided at no cost to the families, Camp Discovery is one week of fun for kids with conditions ranging from eczema and psoriasis, to vitiligo and alopecia, to epidermolysis bullosa and ichthyosis.

Crosslake, Minnesota: July 1-6 (ages 13-16)
Crosslake, Minnesota: July 8-13 (ages 8-13)
Mt. Washington, Massachusetts: July 28-August 2 (ages 8-16)
Burton, Texas: August 4-9 (ages 8-16)
Millville, Pennsylvania: August 10-16 (ages 8-16)
Mountain Center, California: August 11–16 (ages 8-12)

About Camp Discovery

For one week out of the year, kids with chronic skin conditions from across the United States and around the world will come to Camp Discovery to experience an adventure filled with fun, friendship, and personal growth.

How to apply to camp

Attendance at Camp Discovery requires a dermatologist referral. Families should complete and share the referral form with their dermatologist, who will submit it to the AAD.
