Camp Discovery for kids

Camp Discovery offers children living with a chronic skin condition a one-of-a-kind camp experience.
Provided at no cost to the families, Camp Discovery is one week of fun for kids with conditions ranging from eczema and psoriasis, to vitiligo and alopecia, to epidermolysis bullosa and ichthyosis.

For one week out of the year, kids with chronic skin conditions from across the United States and around the world will come to Camp Discovery to experience an adventure filled with fun, friendship, and personal growth.

To attend Camp Discovery, a dermatologist must first refer the child to the AAD for admission. Simply download the camper referral form and submit it back to the AAD by email/fax.

The success of AAD's Camp Discovery depends on dedicated dermatologists, nurses, and counselors who volunteer their time to ensure that the medical needs of each camper are met.
