Psoriasis: Recommendations for topical PUVA photochemotherapy

  • Topical PUVA is indicated for adults with psoriasis of palms and soles. 
  • Bath PUVA is indicated for adults and children with generalized psoriasis. 
  • Topical PUVA is contraindicated in patients with known lupus erythematosus, porphyria, or xeroderma pigmentosum.
