HIPAA: The Health Information Portability and Accountability Act requires that covered individuals, organizations, and agencies comply with requirements to protect the privacy and security of health information. 

CLIA: The Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) are federal standards to ensure quality of all laboratory testing. 

iPLEDGE: Prescribers of isotretinoin, patients taking the drug and pharmacies dispensing it must all comply with iPLEDGE, an FDA-mandated risk-management program.
