Annual Meeting partnership: Meeting support
The Academy is innovating to better deliver educational services. The AAD Annual Meeting offers various tools to enhance the attendee experience and here are some additional ways to support the meeting.
|Screening stations||There will be security screening stations at the five convention center entrances. Attendees will need to pass through these stations upon entering the convention center. These stations are for all the attendees’ health and safety.|
Recognition includes logo recognition at each security station on signage and may include logo recognition on security desk.
|The AAD Annual Meeting’s mobile app is the meeting’s program and the primary resource for attendees navigating the largest dermatologic scientific meeting in the world. The user-friendly app allows attendees (approximately 18,000) to access pertinent information, such as: sessions and events with “favorites” button, how to claim CME and submit evaluations, exhibitors, maps, e-Posters, “Ask Me” FAQs, city guide and more.|
Recognition may include logo recognition on the digital schedule screens in the convention center and main header of app’s navigation page; a tile of the app with logo recognition linking to the supporter’s home page; and logo recognition on the web version of the app on AAD.org. Additionally, the sponsor receives right-of-first-refusal on an advertising tile of the app (one of three) with a 50% discount to apply to this branded promotional opportunity.
|Wi-Fi||Wi-Fi will enable attendees (approximately 18,000) to easily connect to the internet and access the meeting’s mobile app (contains the meeting’s program) at the convention center and main hotel throughout the AAD Annual Meeting (March 24-29, 2022).|
Recognition may include name recognition in the wireless network name (SSID) for all internet-users to see when they join the network from their phone/tablet/laptop/etc.

|Concierge Program||This program delivers superior customer service directly to all AAD Annual Meeting attendees. Personnel visible in green vests providing ongoing assistance and answer all questions.|
Recognition may include logo recognition on Concierge Program materials, including vests and signage.
|Hotel key cards||Once a meeting attendee checks in for their room at an AAD-block hotel, they will receive their key card (approximately 2,000 key cards with sponsor recognition).|
Recognition may include logo recognition on every hotel key card.

|Attendance verification terminals||Attendance verification at the AAD Annual Meeting are required for attendees to claim their continuing medical education. Approximately 8,000 – 10,000 health care professionals visit a 24/7 attendance verification terminal located throughout the meeting’s high-traffic areas.|
Recognition may include logo recognition on all meeting attendance verification terminal signage.
Resident Access to Education
|The Academy’s Resident Access to Education program ensures that over 1,000 residents in dermatology benefit from attending sessions during the AAD Annual Meeting. Residents are exposed to the latest research and gain knowledge and skills that cannot be found in the classroom.|
