Annual Meeting partnership: Meeting communications & media


The Academy offers the following opportunities to stay on top of the news coming out of the largest annual meeting for dermatology, before, during, and after the 2022 AAD Annual Meeting.

Dermatology World Meeting News -
Print Preview Edition

This Dermatology World (DermWorld) branded channel reports on and promotes the Academy’s major clinical meetings. The DermWorld preview provides news and information about the upcoming Annual Meeting, including interviews with speakers, session highlights, details on registration, and more—mailed to all 20,500+ AAD members.

Recognition may include space for a corporate partner ad.
Multiple supporters (sole supporter per level):

Level I center-spread partner ad, $30,000.

Level II back-page partner ad, $25,000.

Dermatology World Meeting News -
Print Post Edition
The DermWorld post is mailed after the Annual Meeting to all 20,500+ AAD members. It reports on the meeting’s scientific program, presenting clinical and research news discussed during courses, focus sessions, forums, and the plenary session.

Recognition may include space for a corporate partner ad.

Level I center spread partner ad, $30,000.

Level II back-page partner ad, $25,000.

Press office / Media appreciation luncheon
The AAD Annual Meeting press office hosts approximately 100 representatives of consumer and trade media from all over the world. Media attendees may network and conduct interviews and other business in this space. Although the 2020 and 2021 Annual Meetings were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, media placements from the 2019 Annual Meeting generated more than 105 million media impressions.

The AAD Annual Meeting media appreciation luncheon for registered press takes place at in the press office to thank the media for their role in educating the public about skin, hair, and nail health.

Recognition may include the sponsor’s name and logo on signage at the entrance of the press office and inside the press office. Plus, name and logo recognition on luncheon materials and signage.
