2022 Annual Meeting: Important dates
Several companies unaffiliated with the AAD or Maritz Global Events (MGE), have been posing as the official registration and housing provider for the 2022 Annual Meeting. These companies may contact you directly to offer registration and/or housing for the Annual Meeting through websites designed to deceive visitors by posing as an AAD website.
Do not give your credit card information or make any reservations with any website other than our legitimate registration and housing partner, Maritz Global Events. In partnership with MGE, group room packages will be managed by FHT Global.
Registration will open according to the schedule below:
November 17, 2021 at 12 p.m. noon (CT): Physician, life, and honorary members
November 23, 2021 at 12 p.m. noon (CT): Residents, medical fellows, AAD graduate members, and medical students
December 1, 2021 at 12 p.m. noon (CT): All remaining categories
Early-bird registration will end February 16, 2022 at 12 p.m. noon (CT). At this time, standard registration fees apply and will continue until the end of the meeting.
Deadline to book housing through the AAD is Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
Session changes or additions
NEW! Beginning February 16, 2022 at 12 p.m. noon (CT), session tickets become non-refundable, except in the event of a full meeting cancellation. New session tickets can still be added if available, but will not be mailed and will need to be picked up at the meeting.
Session tickets cannot be exchanged and are non-transferable.
Courses (C) and Workshops (W) require a fee and ticket for admittance. All other session types are first-come first-serve based on category eligibility. All session ticket policies apply.
All members must be in good standing at the time of registration for the 2022 AAD Annual Meeting to receive the member rate.
Membership processes are not instant and will take 7-10 business days for review. To ensure a smooth experience, be sure to allow adequate time.
October 31, 2021: Deadline for International, Affiliate, and Adjunct membership applications to be received.
February 9, 2022 : Deadline to have completed membership application (Fellows and Associates) and reinstatement of membership request/documents submitted to AAD for review. Once reviewed and approved, access will be given for the opportunity to register at the early bird rate.
March 4, 2022: Deadline to have completed membership application (Fellows and Associates) and reinstatement of membership request/documents submitted to AAD for review. Once reviewed and approved, the standard rate to register will be provided.
*Documentation received after the above deadline dates will not be reviewed.
If a category change is required after completing registration, a $100 processing fee will be applied.
Deadline to register and receive materials by mail
Those who have a completed, paid in full, registration by February 16, 2022 at 12 p.m. noon (CT), will automatically have their materials mailed prior to the meeting.
If for some reason you do not receive your packet prior to the meeting, materials can be picked up at the meeting.
