VMX 2021: Important dates & policies

Please take a moment to read through the meeting policies below. You will be asked to agree to them while registering for the meeting.

Important dates

April 15: Deadline for reinstatement of AAD membership to guarantee ability to register for VMX live dates

October 4: Deadline to register for on-demand content viewing

October 15 (11:59 p.m. CT): Access to on-demand content ends

Official language

The official language of AAD VMX is English.

Official time zone

The official time zone of AAD VMX will be Central Time (CT).

Special needs (ADA assistance)

Special needs requests will need to be submitted no later than March 23, 2021.

Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, if you require special aid or services during the live educational content hours please email registration@aad.org and a member of the AAD Meeting & Conventions staff will contact you.

Registration policies

Individuals must register and pay the appropriate fees to attend any portion of the VMX meeting.

Registration must be completed online with credit card payment. Wire transfers and checks will not be accepted for payment.

Name changes are not allowed; registration is non-transferable.

Members must be in good standing to receive the Member registration rate.

Registration category adjustments cannot be accommodated.

Return policy

AAD VMX registration is non-refundable.

Content will be available online to all purchasers through July 12, 2021 - 11:59 p.m. (CT).

If registrant is unable to participate, fees cannot be transferred or applied to any other AAD product or membership affiliated program.

Attestation of accurate registration submission

Registrants certify that any information provided to the AAD during the registration process and throughout the course of the meeting is true and accurate to the best of their knowledge. Any misstatements or inaccuracies presented could result in removal from the meeting and revocation of meeting credentials for current and future AAD meetings.

VMX registrant data privacy policy

The American Academy of Dermatology/Association (AAD/AADA/Academy) is committed to maintaining your confidence and trust, and accordingly, maintains the following privacy policy: www.aad.org/legal-notice and www.aad.org/legal-notice/legal-eu. The Academy does not rent or otherwise disseminate member or meeting registrant email addresses, phone numbers, and fax numbers to other organizations. In the virtual exhibit hall, attendees will have the ability to interact with exhibitors and provide this type of information to exhibitors, if the attendee chooses to do so.

Companies exhibiting at AAD VMX will be provided one (1) mailing list containing the names and mailing addresses of VMX participants. These companies must sign an agreement with the Academy that the provided listing is for a one-time only use. Each mailing is subject to AAD approval and must follow AAD's list rental policy. The Academy reserves the right to utilize registrants’ data (name, address, and email) for email/marketing communications regarding all AAD-affiliated programs. By completing your registration, you have agreed to all policies listed within the AAD website, and the online registration.
