Conference program and agenda

About the conference

The AADA Virtual Legislative Conference is designed to educate participants about health care policy issues affecting the specialty, prepare them to advocate on those issues, and assist participants as they meet with members of Congress and their staff as groups on September 15. Participants will hear from AADA staff, members of Congress, and policy experts.

Live events in the form of webinars and conference calls have been scheduled to primarily take place outside of office hours. Although participants are encouraged to participate in these events in real time, many of these events will also be recorded and available for on-demand viewing. Calls with members of Congress will take place on Tuesday, September 15. Participants are asked to reserve the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Eastern time on this date for Congressional calls.

Additionally, the virtual conference offers support and guidance from experienced AADA member advocates, who will lead calls to Congress and help prepare their team to advocate on important issues. The AADA will schedule all of your Capitol Hill tele-meetings and provide background materials and briefing information so you can be fully prepared to meet with your members of Congress.

Until schedules are released, we ask that participants avoid scheduling patients during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern time.
