Visa application guidelines and procedures

It is customary to tip bartenders, waiters, and cab drivers between 15 to 20 percent. Hotel staff also expect to receive tips. Bellhops can be tipped $1 per bag, while doormen and valet car servicemen should receive $1 to $2. You may provide a tip for maid service (housekeeping) at your hotel by leaving $1 to $3 either on the bed or the table next to the bed.

Business casual is appropriate for the meeting.  Some meeting rooms might feel cold, so a sweater or light jacket might be helpful. Comfortable shoes are recommended as there are long walking distances within the convention center.

Thursday, March 2 - Select international societies will be holding independent sessions.
Educational Sessions
Educational sessions will now end at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7.
Exhibit Hall
The exhibit hall will now be open Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 5 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

AAD Connection - Exhibit Hall B4
In the Connection,  meeting attendees will find the AAD Resource Center, E-Poster Exhibits and Presentations and the AAD Networking Center. The Networking Center is equipped with computer terminals for messaging other meeting attendees, and accessing email, comfortable seating for relaxing between sessions, and recharge counters with built–in electrical outlets to stayed charged throughout the day.  Conveniently located in Hall B4, adjacent to the Technical Exhibits and Food Court, the AAD Connection is a premier destination for AAD information, education, networking and collaboration with colleagues.

Letter of invitation
You will need to first complete your registration.  Upon completion of your registration, the online registration system will automatically generate your letter of invitation for printing. You will receive your letter via email to the address provided during registration. Letters of invitation for Guest registrants will only be provided if the accompanying individual has completed his or her meeting registration.  Due to security concerns, letters will only be issued to registrants who have completed registration by February 22, 2017, at 12 p.m. noon (CT) 

Videotaping/photography in educational sessions 
Use of cameras, camera phones, video cameras is prohibited in all educational sessions. Violations of this policy will result in removal from the session and confiscation of equipment. Directors and room monitors will be closely monitoring adherence to this policy.
