Session title: A Virtual Reality View – Long-Term Management of Atopic Dermatitis: New and Emerging Targeted Systemic Therapies

Description: While guidelines regarding the management of AD in children have been published, variability persists in practice. Treatment inconsistencies and the chronic and relapsing nature of AD can lead to frustration for patients, family, and caregivers when managing AD. This program will focus on providing AD caregivers an update on recent pathophysiological findings that drive new therapeutic targets; reviewing severity and diagnosis of AD; and discussing the clinical profiles of existing and emerging agents, with focus on treatment individualization.

Session title: HANDS ON Psoriatic Disease: A Live & Augmented Reality Experience for Advancing Patient Care Despite Modern Time Constraints

Description: This program is designed to educate and empower dermatologists to define, predict, and recognize early manifestations of psoriatic arthritis while treating psoriasis, to improve patient outcomes and help prevent irreversible structural damage associated with PsA.  It will provide practical hands on experience using digital technology to educate dermatology specialists on how to integrate a brief joint examination for the purposes of screening their patients with psoriasis for PsA and a live patient experience demonstrating how these approaches can be integrated into a modern time-constrained dermatology clinic.

Session title:  PD-1 Targeting Therapy in Advanced Metastatic Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma (CSCC)

Description:  A symposium on optimizing the scientific understanding, advances, evaluation and management of advanced and metastatic cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC). Interactive and case-based sessions will focus on disease pathobiology, immune‐related mechanisms, clinical trials, and the translational implications for PD‐1 checkpoint inhibition in advanced, unresectable, and metastatic CSCC.  Speakers will analyze existing gaps in therapy for advanced CSCC, and the rationale for considering immune system targeting for patients who have failed or are progressing on chemotherapy.
