AAD Annual Meeting partnership opportunities

The Academy is the gold standard for educational resources for dermatologists. The AAD Annual Meeting is the largest dermatologic scientific meeting in the world, with an average 18,000 in attendance, approximately 10,000 of whom are medical personnel. The highlighted opportunities are some of the ways organizations can showcase their commitment to high-quality dermatologic education.

Important information regarding COVID-19

The Academy is continuing to plan for an in-person 2021 Annual Meeting. The safety of participants is first and foremost, and the AAD will arrange a meeting that meets or exceeds safety standards. If the in-person meeting is cancelled, your company will receive a full refund for any paid Annual Meeting sponsorship within 21 business days from notice of cancellation.

Industry Non-CME Program

The AAD’s Industry Non-CME (INC) Program provides organizations an opportunity to showcase new therapies and innovations, present breaking data and research, and host AAD meeting participants in accordance with the standards set for industry by the FDA. INC program content is developed and delivered by the sponsor as it’s their chance to present the latest to the dermatology specialty

Leadership Programs Alumni Reception

This event invites past and present participants of AAD leadership programs, including the Leadership Forum, to network with members of the AAD Board of Directors and Executive Committee officer.

President's Gala
As the Academy’s signature event celebrating the tenure of the president, the Gala brings together AAD leaders, donors, and corporate supporters. Net proceeds from the 2021 President’s Gala will support the Academy’s public health activities and other critical programs/services that benefit the lives of patients, our communities, and the AAD members who serve them.

Based on the level of support, recognition and benefits may include logo placement throughout the event, seating at the event, and logo recognition in various AAD publications, along with other benefits.

Stars of the Academy Awards Ceremony

This event invites AAD members, dermatology residents, and others to be recognized for their commitment and service to the specialty of dermatology and the Academy as well as offers colleagues opportunity to network.

Recognition may include logo recognition in supporter recognition presentation slide and signage; and name recognition in event script. Plus, an invitation for two company representatives to attend the reception.

Meeting support

Concierge Program

This program delivers superior customer service directly to all AAD Annual Meeting attendees, providing ongoing assistance and answering all questions.

Recognition may include logo recognition on Concierge Program materials, including vests and signage.

Hotel Key Cards
Once a meeting attendee checks into their hotel room, they will receive their key card.

Recognition may include logo recognition on every hotel key card.

Mobile App
The AAD Annual Meeting’s mobile app allows attendees to access pertinent information, such as: frequently asked questions (FAQs), the program schedule, claiming CME and submitting evaluations, committee and affiliate functions, a personal schedule and itinerary builder, and more.

Recognition may include logo recognition with booth number on the most viewed page of the app; plus, an icon with logo recognition linking to the supporter’s home page.

Medical Education Grants
The topics presented at the Annual Meeting range from traditional to the cutting edge in the field of dermatology. The specific sessions are based on a comprehensive analysis of existing gaps in dermatologic practice.

An engaging high-profile speaker is invited to present during the Annual Meeting’s plenary session to enhance the relevance of AAD educational offerings.

The AAD Annual Meeting Press Office hosts approximately 100 representatives of consumer and trade media from all over the world. Media attendees may network and conduct interviews and other business in this space.

Pocket Guide
This guide to the Annual Meeting is available to all attendees, the size of their pocket, and is the only printed item that outlines all the scientific sessions.

Resident Access to Education
The Academy’s Resident Access to Education program ensures that over 1,000 residents in dermatology benefit from attending sessions during the AAD Annual Meeting. Residents are exposed to the latest research and gain knowledge and skills that cannot be found in the classroom.Multiple supporters, starting at $25,000.
Registration Mailer
The AAD Annual Meeting’s registration mailer goes out to all early-bird meeting registrants, delivering what they need in advance of the meeting.

Recognition may include logo recognition on back flap of the envelope.
Sole supporter, $20,000.
Wi-FiWi-Fi will enable attendees to easily connect to the internet and access the AAD mobile app at the convention center and main hotel.

Recognition may include name recognition in the wireless network name (SSID).

DermWorld Meeting News print - Preview edition
This DermWorld branded channel reports on and promotes the Academy’s major clinical meetings. The DermWorld preview provides news and information about the upcoming Annual Meeting, including interviews with speakers, session highlights, details on registration, and more — mailed to all AAD members.

DermWorld Meeting News print -
Post edition

The DermWorld post is mailed after the Annual Meeting to all AAD members. It reports on the meeting’s scientific program, presenting clinical and research news discussed during courses, focus sessions, forums, and the plenary session.
