Dermatologists certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, Osteopathic Board of Dermatology, or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. More information

Apply as Fellow

Associates

Dermatologists residing in the US or Canada whose training qualifies them for the examination by either the American Board of Dermatology, Osteopathic Board of Dermatology, or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Applicants for associate membership (who are qualified to take the Board exam) will receive an automatic change of status to fellow following receipt of proof of successfully completed the exam in dermatology from the American Board of Dermatology, Osteopathic Board of Dermatology, and/or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. NOTE: If going into a fellowship program, have the program director contact the AAD to continue to receive a complimentary Graduate Membership.

International Fellows

Dermatologists who reside outside the United States or Canada that have obtained board certification equivalent to the American Board of Dermatology or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. More information

Affiliate

Individuals who meet one or more of the following criteria:

• Dermatopathologists who are Board-Certified in dermatopathology and are not eligible to be a Fellow or Associate member.
• Physicians who are certified in dermatology by a non-U.S. or non-Canadian board.

Adjunct

Individuals who meet one of the following criteria:

• Researchers, including PhD holders and other scientists devoting a major portion of their time to dermatologic research.
• Veterinarians specializing in veterinary dermatology.
• Corporate individual.
