AADA fights to preserve in-office ancillary services exception

The AADA and members of the specialty community are strongly opposing the Promoting Integrity in Medicare Act. The bill calls for repeal of the in-office ancillary services exception (IOASE). If enacted, the legislation would severely limit patient access to life-saving pathology services provided within coordinated care models.
