I was seven months pregnant and had a mole on my upper left arm that had always been there, but now it itched and when I did, it bled. I asked my OBGYN to remove it and after hesitating, she did.

A week later, she called and told me to come back in for a visit. She told me it was treatable but I'd have to go to a dermatologist. I did, and then they removed more and sent me to the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

I'm taking care of my family's skin as well as mine better by always using natural sunscreens and staying out of the sun for extended periods of time.

They removed more and got it all. Now, I have to go in every six months to have them check my moles and since then, I've had 29 removed. Some came back as cells that were changing! I tell all my clients about my scar if they ask or it comes up and warn the young girls when they look tan.
