  • Manage patients with moderate-to-severe psoriasis effectively
  • Formulate algorithms for diagnosing and managing medically complex dermatology patients
  • Identify clinical decision support systems to reduce medical errors

Description:
Medically complex patients can present as both diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. In this session, we will discuss management of patients with moderate-to-severe psoriasis and significant medical comorbidities. In addition, we will learn useful diagnostic and therapeutic algorithms that will help providers manage medically challenging patients. Finally, we will identify clinical decision support systems that will help increase diagnostic accuracy and decrease diagnostic errors. At the end of this session, the participants will be armed with evidence-based know-how to help their medically complex patients.
