Learning Objectives:
Following this course, the attendee should be able to:
- Manage patients with moderate-to-severe psoriasis successfully
- Manage children with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis effectively
- Improve medication adherence in patients with chronic dermatologic conditions
Description:
The attendees will gain practical skills to successfully manage patients with chronic inflammatory conditions such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. Specifically, the attendees will learn to manage patients with moderate-to-severe psoriasis with modern treatments and communicate effectively the associated benefits and risks. In addition, the attendees will also learn clinical pearls to treat children with severe atopic dermatitis with confidence. Finally, the attendees will learn evidence-based methods to improve medication adherence in patients living with chronic dermatologic diseases. At the end of this session, the attendees will have gained practical management skills that they can put to use immediately.
