Learning Objectives:
Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

Identify melanocytic patterns and non-melanocytic patterns on dermoscopy
Recognize and identify major dermoscopic findings in melanoma
Differentiate between benign melanocytic nevi and melanoma

Description:
This 3 hour session will present a wide array of dermoscopy images of benign and malignant non-melanocytic and melanocytic lesions. The clinician will be instructed on the 2 step approach and emphasis will be on pattern recognition and how to incorporate dermoscopy in a busy clinical practice. Multiple cases will be presented that incorporate dermoscopic images and the corresponding histopathologic diagnoses. The attendee should become familiar with the various benign melanocytic, non-melanocytic and melanoma patterns by the close of the session and can test his or her knowledge with the final self-assessment presentation.
