Learning Objectives:
Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Recognize the common and misleading clinical presentations of autoimmune bullous dermatoses in adulthood and childhood
  • Evaluate and diagnose autoimmune bullous diseases of the skin and mucosae
  • Treat and correctly follow up with patients with autoimmune bullous dermatoses

Description:
The session will review the wide clinical spectrum of presentations of autoimmune bullous dematosis, present the most frequent pitfalls in the diagnosis of this group of disease, summarize the current diagnostic algorythm, remind the place and limits of the various diagnostic tests and, finally, describe the guidelines and the evidence-based principles of management. International experts will share their experience in this fascinating and challenging area.
