Description:
Melanoma incidence in the US continues to rise despite large-scale media campaigns to promote melanoma awareness and prevention. Recent advances in basic and translational research have allowed for improved methods of melanoma prevention, detection, diagnosis, and treatment, while carefully designed population-based studies have improved our understanding of melanoma risk factors, including UV exposures associated with indoor tanning. Our internationally recognized team of experts will present the most up-to-date information on cutting edge research in melanoma. Participation in this program is expected to improve the clinical management of patients with melanoma and those at high-risk to develop this disease.
