Description:
We all have “hot buttons,” words or behaviors that trigger emotional responses. These emotions speed our reaction to the environment, often with damaging consequences to professional relationships. Social awareness, self-management, and relationship management are key components of “emotional intelligence” that allow us to manage these reactions effectively. This session will facilitate attendees’ recognition of hot button triggers and identification of areas for development in emotional intelligence with the goal of achieving constructive outcomes in the workplace.
