- Select the best therapeutic option for a patient with psoriasis.
Description:
Introduction to modern photo (chemo) therapeutic techniques that can be used to treat psoriasis. Analysis and discussion of the most appropriate indications, e.g., clinical presentation of psoriasis and phototherapy of choice for that setting. Overview of the possible combinations with systemic and topical agents in order to reduce the long term risks of UV exposure and improve the outcome. Hints and suggestions for psoriasis phototherapy in a private practice. Presentation and discussion of clinical cases. Brief presentation of the new approaches and perspectives for the future. Audience: every dermatologist interested in treating psoriasis with phototherapy.
