Description:
The method presented here for the evaluation of pigmented skin lesions was derived from pattern analysis and is based on a logical structure as well as simple and clearly defined terms. If you are a newcomer in the field of dermatoscopy, you will find it straightforward to learn the basic principles of this method. Pigmented skin lesions can be described reliably with the aid of the patterns, colors and clues. In this interactive session we will apply pattern analysis to categorize pigmented lesions. We will learn to recognize clues to malignancy and we will diagnose pigmented lesions with specificity.
