Description:
In this session, an update on some cutaneous leishmaniasis’ key issues, particularly its treatment and prevention, will be provided. The session is mainly focused on the research findings related to the Old World cutaneous leishmaniasis. An evidence-based approach to the therapeutic strategies will be presented. The session is directed to dermatologists, resident dermatologists, infectious disease and tropical medicine specialists, military physicians, microbiologists, immunologists, parasitologists, and general practitioners.
