Following this course, the attendee should be able to:
- 1. Identify different board-relevant high yield dermatopathology diagnoses.
- 2. Differentiate between the different entities included in the differential diagnoses.
- 3. Utilize important histologic clues to aid in making the correct diagnosis.
Description:
This session is designed on a case-based model and will introduce high-yield unknown dermatopathology images. It will discuss the diagnoses and present the differential diagnosis. It will also familiarize the participants with important distinguishing features between similar entities. It is meant to be interactive. It will prepare the dermatology residents for the dermatopathology portion of their board exam.
